Dr John Ellis talks about the importance of skin-to-skin for NNU babies and how they try to maximize the opportunities for these babies to have skin-to-skin time with their parents. He describes the benefits for the babies’ blood oxygen saturation levels, calming their heart rates and maintaining their temperature and that the babies clearly enjoy the skin-to-skin.
